If you had suggested to me on the 9th January, 2024, my 56th birthday, that in the coming year I would be represented by Salt and Pepper Models, an Agency that specialises in classic, midlife and mature models and I would also enter the UK division of an International Pageant, I would have laughed at you, big guffaws not just little chuckles.
But here I am, Mrs North Yorkshire Galaxy 24/25 and heading to the United Kingdom Galaxy Final in Lancashire on Sunday 30th March 2025. Winners of each of the 5 categories will be flown to Orlando in August 2025 to represent the United Kingdom at the Galaxy International Finals.
Remember, in the words of Austrian Poet and Novelist Rainer Maria Rilke, ‘you are never too old and it is not too late’.
